Tucson Arizona Day 1 & 2
Our first week was spent in Tucson and the surrounding area. We were fortunate to have a place with a golf course on one side and the Saguaro National Park on the other side. We spent our time exploring the area, hiking in natural area parks and bird preserves as well as the surrounding areas as many of the pictures will attest to. We toured out in the Saguaro National Park where we visited the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, a place exhibiting the flora and fauna of the area. There are many good areas to explore in Tucson, and later in the week we went on a day trip to Maderia Canyon and cross country to Patagonia Lake, Southeast of Tucson.
