In order to get the stars, I shot plam trees that were as poorly lit as possible.  Still there was a lot of light limiting the amount of stars that could be seen.
The fronds on the trees wave in the wind resulting in the blurring of the edges during the long exposure.
More wind, more movement, more blur.
The full moon glimmers on the water, behind beach cabanas.
My favourite picture.  The winds off of the ocean move the trees while the full moon lights up the beach.

This night we had a full moon and lots of moving clouds giving us interesting patterns in the sky
The lower clouds get a redish colour from the ground lights.  Upper clouds say white.
